Namisi & Company Advocates was established in 1987 as a one-person operation under the leadership of Mr. Fred K. Namisi, who earned his law degree from the Kenya School of Law and holds an honors degree from Dar es Salaam University in Tanzania. Before founding his own practice, Mr. Namisi spent considerable time working in the legal field at the Insurance Company of East Africa and later at Khaminwa & Khaminwa Advocates, where he developed substantial expertise across both business-related matters and dispute resolution. His career path exposed him to numerous practice areas including property transfers, business law, general civil disputes, criminal matters, constitutional issues, family relations, workplace law, and insurance-related cases. The firm underwent significant growth in May 2007 when Ms. Helene R. Namisi joined as a partner, and the team was further strengthened by the addition of multiple associate-level attorneys.
