Owiti, Otieno and Ragot Advocates officially registered in early 2016 and launched full operations two and a half years later in mid-2018. The practice emerged from combining two established firms: Odhiambo Owiti & Company, which had served clients since the late 1990s, and Otieno Ragot & Company, which operated from the early 2000s. These two firms joined forces to expand their legal capabilities and better serve their clientele across a broader range of practice areas. Based in Kisumu, the firm provides comprehensive legal services spanning banking and finance, commercial transactions, property conveyancing, corporate matters, election disputes, environmental concerns, family law, insurance, intellectual property, litigation, real estate, and taxation. The consolidation allowed the combined practice to enhance both the diversity of legal work it could undertake and its overall capacity to deliver high-quality representation to clients.
